The team makes its move and hurries to free Jamie from the control of The Reach once and for all.
We’re finally here, at the end of Death of the Family! This is the first Batman arc I’ve actually managed to keep up to date with. I fell terribly behind the Court of Owls arc because I just didn’t care for it. This one’s been a lot more interesting because, hey, it’s the Joker. What’s not to like? Well…a lot actually. The ending itself leaves a lot to be desired.
Thanks to DC, we once again have a fairly straightforward reading guide for the upcoming crossover story arc featuring the four Green Lantern titles. Supposedly this series sees the introduction of a new main character in the main Green Lantern title. The story arc has been building since Green Lantern Corps 3, when the Corps discover a new threat and murmurings of a third army are heard. In a new comic book line headed by Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen, All-New X-Men sees the return of Professor Xavier’s original students, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Angel and Beast. It seems like they will be brought into the present alongside their modern selves. So, it should be interesting to see how the react to how the world has turned out as well as what has happened to the Professor’s dream of world united among mutants and humans. We should be seeing issue one hit store shelves in November 2012.
Welcome to part one of The Culling! DC’s New 52 is divided into different branches, the one featuring teen heroes is called Young Justice and this serves as the first crossover between all Young Justice titles. The Culling builds off of the major story line in Superboy and spreads throughout the various Young Justice issues, culminating in a new series called The Ravagers.
(yes, we do comic reviews here too! …it’s just been a while)
Currently Vertical Publishing is asking fans to vote for the next manga series that they want to see brought over to the states. On that list? Kamen Rider SPIRITS! The epicly long yet all around amazing comic series is a continuation of the Riderverse up to ZX, greatly expanding their stories and being all around awesome. Up to now it’s only had scanlations, but this could be our chance to get another official Kamen Rider product in English for tokusatsu fans!
Click here to go to Vertical Publishing’s Facebook page and cast your vote to bring Kamen Rider SPIRITS to an English reading audience! At the moment it’s sitting at 14th on the list with just 44 votes, compared to the number one title’s 304 votes. We definitely have a while to go, but we can pull it off as a fandom, so spread the word and help bring SPIRITS to the States!
