Mother’s sleep continues in this episode as Dezzle and Raija hatch a plan to cause the B-Fighter armor to corrode. Kengo and Lee are the only ones left to stop the attacking brothers and their monster after Ran and Kouhei’s armors are knocked out of commission. And, we’re moving on to the second quarter of Zyuranger here with the 14th episode of the show. What’s in store for us here? Well, it’s one of the most bizarre episodes the series has to offer, one that typifies the very bizarre and surreal aspects that Zyuranger is most famous for.
There is still one day left to contribute to this epic project. In their most recent update post, they describe how thankful they are for all of the help that the fans have given them in raising this money. They also mention that the more donations they receive, the better equipment they will be able to acquire for the shoot. Personally, I think if they wound up getting their hands on a RED camera, this show will end up looking amazing at the very least. So, if you haven’t already, throw a few bucks their way. They have some cool rewards for each level of donation so you have a lot to choose from.
[悪夢のオオクワガタ] akumu no ou kuwagata
“The Merciless Giant Stag Beetle”
And we’re introduced to what I think is going to bet the final new character of the show in this episode, Kuwaga Titan. Mother Melzard was given the Geist Ax by the Will of Darkness to use the ultimate dark power against the B-Fighters. The Titan forces Kabuterious to a draw not once, but twice. It also seems like we might not get to see either one of them again for a while as the portions on their respective weapons that house them have been turned to stone.
No surprise here, but since the end of Megaupload, it’s been difficult to find a lot of older tokusatsu. Because of this, I won’t be able to finish doing episode to episode summaries of B-Fighter Kabuto beyond episode 41. There’s going to be a full series review for B-Fighter Kabuto at some point, but until then, I do want something else to keep me busy. So! I’ve decided it would be neat to get the readers in on this. I’m going to be reviewing a new series episode to episode in addition to Zyuranger (which will become the primary series for me after B-Fighter Kabuto) starting in a few weeks. The criteria for this poll was fairly simple: shows I haven’t seen before or shows I’ve only seen once. I want to watch something and be genuinely surprised with what I’m watching. You see, a lot of the tokusatsu that I’ve seen raw was during a time I couldn’t understand most of what was going on. That’s changed and I’d like to think I have a better understanding of things now, so I’m going for shows that will hopefully surprise me. (and yes, I added one anime) So, Metalder, one of the shows used for VR Troopers, Kamen Rider Amazon, Kikaider 01, Macross Seven, or Juukou B-Fighter? Your choice!

After a massive push from fans of both Thousand Pounds Action Company and martial arts movies in general, Clandestine: Follow the Path has finally reached and surpassed its goal of 75k with less than 3 days to go. We are freakin’ excited that this project will now be able to come to fruition and proud to have been a part of the effort. This past week has been a mad dash to the finish line for them, going from about 45k last weekend to 83k today, with 10k of it being added in the last 10 minutes. We have faith that they will do the best with the money and make their vision a reality. We at RST wish them the best of luck and will keep all of you posted on any further developments on the project.
